I just published a post on our brand new partner site technow.cc.
It is a two part video tutorial on how to install OSX Snow Leopard on the Asus eee 1000HE (should work with the other models as well).

The dsdt files contained in my packages (for the 1000H and the 1000HE) have both been generated with 2GB of memory, so there will be problems with eee PC that have not been upgraded with more RAM. Today, the fan of my Asus 1000h started to make some bone chilling, whining sounds which are absolutely unbearable.
So I took it back…
3-4 weeks for the repair and me without my trusty netbook…
 
Fortunately I did test the 10.5.7 upgrade yesterday and could do a short write-up on this (see previous article).
But unfortunately I won’t be able to test all the new stuff that comes out over at ipis-osx, so you’ll have to rely on the forums over there but I’ll still try to help you out as much …

I just upgraded to version 10.5.7 of Leopard on my 1000H.
I did this by downloading the Combo Update directly from Apple (just to be sure…) and executing it on the eee PC.

Everything went fine, I just had to:

reinstall the modified graphics kexts in version 10.5.7

reinstall the Bluetooth kext from the Fixes folder

and strangely the PS2 kexts and to reapply the AboutThisMac.pkg
