OSX Sleep state

After a night of sleep (roughly 12 hours) the battery of my 1000h under OSX still shows 83% of charge. That would mean that we should get a bit more than 2.5 days of sleep out of a fully charged battery, which is not bad. But this still seems a bit low to me – I was under the impression that under Windows it’s more. Please comment…

The guys over here have got the fist success making sound partially work on a eee Hackintosh. For the time being it’s only through speakers and it does not survive sleep. But it is a great start. Ethernet for OSX – The results

Today I got the USB to Ethernet adapter for the MacBook Air from the Apple store. At first it is not recognized by OSX (it seems that it is a problem for Kalyway and iDeneb – and probably others too) as there are two kexts missing (AppleUSBEthernet.kext and AppleUSBGigEthernet.kext).
