Fan noise – My 1000h died

Today, the fan of my Asus 1000h started to make some bone chilling, whining sounds which are absolutely unbearable. So I took it back… 3-4 weeks for the repair and me without my trusty netbook…   Fortunately I did test the 10.5.7 upgrade yesterday and could do a short write-up on this (see previous article).
