Some users asked for a short video of the sound working on the Asus eee PC. So I did a short demo (here) of my current setup which works like a charm.
Only thing still missing is microphone input for Skype but I think we’ll get there one day.

Update: Sorry for my English, I was only half awake when I did the recording

The guys over here have got the fist success making sound partially work on a eee Hackintosh.
For the time being it’s only through speakers and it does not survive sleep. But it is a great start.
I have tested it and it works like a charm.
See for yourself but beware it is still quite technical.
Update: Sound works on headphones as well – still very technical
