Traffic sources surprise

When toying around with Google Analytics Custom Reporting I noticed a few interesting facts that I’d like to share with you. Almost 20% of the traffic to this site comes from Netbooks with a 1024×600 pixel resolution: Taking all pageviews with this resolution (1024×600), having Macintosh as OS we see that almost half of the visits are made with Hackintoshes (unless Apple have a MacBook mini/nano up their sleeve and they visit my site a lot : Returning visitors are mostly Netbook equipped (hence the resolution of 1024×600):   Other interesting metrics: Under...

Website traffic – an insight

I just wanted to share the visitor statistics of my blog for the last month. On July 28th I published an article about installing Ubuntu on the eee PC – this got me the first “real” traffic at around 3-4 visits a day (hey you have to start somewhere On September 23rd, I then published the article on installing OSX on the 901 and the numbers went to a more or less stable 20 visits a day (with a total of almost 400 pageviews).
